Today, Narxoz Law and Public Policy has officially signed an agreement with Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan on implementation the project “Instruments and skills for human rights education in schools of Kazakhstan (Almaty region)”.
The grant was applied by the Eurasian center for Economic and Legal Research – a think-tank of the School. Under the project, the Center will be training school teachers in the Almaty region in education skills in the field of civic consciousness and human rights.
Among the project’s tasks are:
– creation and application of new tools for teachers to implement the principles of education in the field of civic consciousness and human rights in school subjects;
– conducting offline trainings with teachers on teaching methods;
– creating and conducting a pilot online course for teachers of the Almaty region.
The Eurasian Center is an expert and analytical platform for the development and implementation of legal and economic policies in Central Asia and beyond. The Center’s activities include carrying out research in the field of legal and economic policies, providing expertise to local, national and international stakeholders, supporting for educational initiatives in this sphere, etc.
